The DeGroote School of Business is pleased to guarantee all PhD students financial funding for the first four years of study.

Each full time student currently receives a minimum of $20,000 per year, however the vast majority of our students receive more. This funding is in the form of a Graduate Studies Scholarship, Teaching Assistantships and/or Research Assistantships. Students are encouraged to increase this income by seeking out Research Assistantships with faculty throughout the summer term.

Students are also strongly encouraged to apply for all internal and external scholarship competitions. Many of our students have been awarded generous government scholarships including OGS, NSERC and SSHRC.

Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for the 2011/12 academic year are currently set at:

• Full time tuition for Canadian Students: $6,489 per year
• Full time tuition for International Students: $14,919 per year

A limited number of Tuition Bursaries may be available to international students. This bursary is designed to bridge the difference between Canadian and International tuition fees and distribution will be decided by the Admission Committee based on the student ranking.
