24-Hour Case: Last Call for Volunteers!

Volunteer spaces are filling up. Network with alumni, career partners, faculty, and staff! This is an experiential learning opportunity for you to get involved and give back to the DeGroote community!

Do you want to develop your business skills such as mentorship, leadership, and networking? We are recruiting Student Advisors, Room Monitors and Presentation Day Volunteers for January 19-20, 2024.

The 24-Hour Case is a monumental experiential event for Level 1 Commerce students. 1GR0 students will be analyzing and solving a case in a timeframe of 24 hours, to present their recommendations to a judging panel in person.

Details:

Day 1: Friday, January 19, 2024

  • 5:30 p.m. – Virtual 24-Hour Case Kick-off Event
  • 6:00-9:00 p.m. – Students work in groups with advisor support

Day 2: Saturday, January 20, 2024

  • 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. – Students work in groups with advisor support
  • 1:30-3:30 p.m. – Student groups present to judge panels on campus.

Volunteer Positions Available:

  • Student Advisors (virtual or in-person)
  • Presentation Room Monitors (in-person)
  • Presentation Day Volunteers (in-person)

We will welcome roughly 1,000 people to campus on January 20. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to network with alumni, faculty and staff while demonstrating your leadership skills as you help first-year students!
