Discord: Top 3 Reasons To Join Our Virtual DeGroote Community
The DeGroote Discord community is a space for you to stay connected, even while we are apart.

Reason 1: BCom Welcome Desk
Do you have a quick general question for the BCom team? Nicole and Alexis are just a click away!
- When: Daily: Monday – Friday
- Time: 2 – 3:30 p.m. (EST)
- Where: Discord channel #Bcom-desk-chat (text chat only) or BCom Welcome Desk (voice/video)
- Please note: Do not share personal information (student numbers etc.,) on this channel. Book a Zoom appointment with an Academic Advisor if you need guidance on your specific situation.
2. Bi-weekly Academic Advising Spotlight
Every other week, drop into the Academic Advising Spotlight to learn more about an interesting academic theme, meet the BCom Academic Advisors and chat with other students!

- Where: Discord channel #BCom Advisor Spotlight (under Drop-ins)
- Past spotlights: Exchange, exams, academic options and preparing for graduation.
3. Bi-weekly #asksue
Associate Dean, Sue McCracken, opens up her “virtual” doors every week on the #ask-sue Discord channel to answer your questions on a variety of topics!
- Every other Wednesday at 4 p.m.
