TELUS Diversity in Technology Scholarship

At TELUS, we believe a friendly future is one where youth are provided with the tools and technology they need to reach their full potential. That’s why investing in education is a priority for us. We’re passionate about growing diversity and inclusiveness within our TELUS team and throughout the field of technology. We know that diversity drives innovation that will help us develop and welcome more diverse perspectives that are under-represented, including women and minorities studying in technology-related fields.

With the creation and launch of the TELUS Diversity in Technology scholarship in 2018, we have been able to grant scholarships to dozens of dynamic and inspiring students. Student recipients in 2023 attended:

  • University of Toronto (3 winners)
  • McMaster University
  • Ontario Tech University
  • Toronto Metro University
  • University of British Columbia

What you need to know:

We are very excited to announce the TELUS Diversity in Technology Scholarship is open and taking applications for 2024.

  • Applications Open: Wednesday, May 1 – Wednesday, July 31
  • Application Deadline: Wednesday, July 31 at 11:59 p.m. (PST)
  • Winners Notified: October 2024
  • Scholarship Awards Received: November 2024
