Canadian Conference for Business Research Students (CCBRS) is an annual conference aimed at strengthening Canada’s academic fabric by uniting PhD scholars in a uniquely Canadian academic setting rooted in collaboration, diversity, inclusion and research excellence. Each year the conference provides an annual thematic platform that addresses contemporary issues such as AI, sustainability and equity to anchor discussions and drive relevant, cutting-edge business research.
On July 10, 2026, the University of Guelph will host this year’s conference focusing on the theme of “Resilience in Uncertain Times: New Frontiers in Business Research”. As part of CCBRS 2026, they want students to participate in their poster competition, a unique opportunity to visually showcase innovative work at the intersection of Resilience and business research. All students are welcome to submit their research in the form of a poster, especially those whose work aligns with this year’s theme.
From all submissions, the top 10 entries will be selected by a faculty panel and featured in an in-person exhibition during the conference. During the event, a panel of faculty judges, who are renowned resilience focused researchers from Canadian business schools, will evaluate the posters on originality, relevance, clarity and visual impact. The top three posters will each receive a cash prize in recognition of excellence.
Interested participants must register and submit a poster title and abstract by June 15, 2026.
