Explore Foresight, Futures and Emerging Challenges | Oct. 23

Foresight Lab’s Week of the Futures is taking place this October, bringing together scholars, practitioners, and leaders to explore how we understand and navigate an increasingly complex and uncertain world.

The Agility in the 21st Century Conference takes place on Friday, October 23 at the Ron Joyce Centre in Burlington, featuring more than 30 speakers across four streams focused on organizational resilience, sense-making and decision-making, leadership, creativity, AI, and human agency.

The speaker lineup includes consulting firm partners from organizations such as KPMG and EY, C-suite executives from organizations including Purolator and AstraZeneca, as well as scholars and researchers from McMaster University.

The conference may be of particular interest to PhD students researching strategy, organizations, leadership, innovation, technology, sustainability, futures studies, or other fields exploring how individuals and organizations respond to change. It offers an opportunity to engage with perspectives spanning research and practice and consider how foresight can inform thinking about emerging challenges and possible futures.
