Latin American/Latinx Student Mentorship Program

The Latin American/Latinx Student Mentorship Program is now live!

The program is hosted by the Latin American Network at McMaster University (LANMU). Get paired up with other students and be part of the Latin American Network at McMaster.

This initiative is specifically tailored to address the needs of students at McMaster University who are from Latin America and/or its diasporas.

Application Information:

The first round of mentee applications is open until Tuesday, September 3. A second round of applications for those late to join will be open until Tuesday September 10.

Eligibility:

Any undergraduate, graduate, medical student, medical resident or postdoctoral fellow student who identifies as Latin American/Latinx can be a mentee.

First year undergraduate students will be mentored by upper-year undergraduate students or graduate students, upper-year undergraduate students will be mentored by graduate students, and graduate students will be paired with other graduate students. Postdoctoral fellows may be mentored by experienced postdoctoral fellows or faculty members.
