The DeGroote School of Business is pleased to announce a new exchange partnership with Abu Dhabi University (ADU), which will expand opportunities for students to gain international experience in the United Arab Emirates.

Founded in 2003, Abu Dhabi University is one of the UAE’s largest private universities, with campuses in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Dubai. The university serves a diverse student population representing more than 100 nationalities and has earned international recognition for academic quality. Its College of Business holds both AACSB and EQUIS accreditation, which places it among a select group of business schools worldwide recognized for excellence in teaching, research, and international engagement.

Through this new partnership, eligible DeGroote students will be able to study at Abu Dhabi University for one or two academic terms while earning credit toward their McMaster degree. Students will have access to a wide range of business-related courses, including accounting, finance, marketing, management, entrepreneurship, business analytics, and information systems.

This partnership aligns with DeGroote’s commitment to providing students with global learning opportunities and exposure to different business environments and cultures. Studying in Abu Dhabi offers students the chance to experience one of the world’s fastest-growing economies while building international networks and developing a broader understanding of global business practices.

Additional information regarding eligibility requirements, course options, and application timelines will be shared through the DeGroote Exchange Office as applications become available. Before applying, students are strongly encouraged to consult with their program or academic advisor to confirm that courses completed at Abu Dhabi University will transfer appropriately toward their degree requirements at McMaster.
