PhD course enrollment will begin June 23, 2026. To be considered “fully enrolled” for the 2026-2027 school year, you must have at least one course in each term. On-time registration will continue until August 3, 2026. If you enroll after the on-time registration deadline, you will be charged late fees on your account.
If you don’t have any courses available to you in a term, you must enroll in a placeholder course (SGS 700).

If you cannot enroll it may be because you are out of time or have a financial hold on your account.

- Out of Time or Overtime students must submit a completed request for extension form (https://gs.mcmaster.ca/app/uploads/2020/02/Request-for-extension-Form.pdf) before being able to enroll in SGS 700.
