The study will develop strategies to better integrate generative AI to advance student learning in the classroom. Building on the challenges that students, instructors and employers identify, they will co-design solutions that can be implemented in their classrooms.
Participation includes the following:
- Online Focus Group: They invite you to share your personal views and experiences with generative AI, in a classroom and workplace setting.
- This discussion will take approximately 45 minutes and will be conducted via Zoom on May 25.
- Co-Creation Session: They will then split participants into groups to collaborate and engage about potential strategies to integrate and parameter AI use.
- This session will take place in person over five hours and will occur on June 8 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Post-Engagement Interview: Immediately following the engagement, participants will be invited to reflect on the brainstorming process. Participants will be provided lunch and refreshments and will be compensated ($100) for their participation.
Participating in this study is voluntary and there are no consequences for not participating.
