Jeffrey Baer is a seasoned leader in the field of predictive analytics and actuarial science, currently serving as Vice President of Enterprise Analytics and Data Office at Definity. With a strong foundation in actuarial science from the University of Waterloo, where he earned his BMath in 2012, Jeffrey has built a distinguished career spanning roles at Definity Insurance and Sonnet Insurance. He holds multiple professional designations, including Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS), Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries (FCIA), and Certified Specialist in Predictive Analytics (CSPA). Throughout his career, Jeffrey has led diverse teams of analytics professionals and driven innovative, data-driven solutions across underwriting, claims, marketing, and distribution. He is an active contributor to the actuarial community, volunteering with both the CAS and CIA on committees related to predictive modeling and education.
