This $5,000 annual scholarship launched recently and will contribute to the Council’s ongoing efforts to support the next generation of talent in the P3 industry. All submissions will be assessed by Council staff and a small working group composed of members of the CCPPP Board of Directors.
The Mark Bain Scholarship, recently inaugurated by The Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships, is available to students at a recognized Canadian university in September 2024.
All you have to do is submit a paper on a topic directly relevant to public-private partnerships (P3s) in Canada. This paper must already have been prepared and submitted as part of your course work. The successful applicant will receive the following:
- A $5,000 scholarship to support the student’s continued education.
- A complimentary Student Membership to the Canadian Council for Public-Private Partnerships
- One ticket to attend P3 2024, CCPPP’s famous Annual Conference (worth $3,100), taking place November 4 & 5 at the Sheraton Centre Hotel in downtown Toronto
Target audience: Full time students registered at a recognized Canadian university in September 2024. Applicants must be a final year undergraduate or post-graduate student in business, engineering, law, or other relevant discipline.

- The deadline for submissions is Thursday June 6, 2024. All applicants will receive qualitative feedback on their submission in July. The scholarship will be awarded in September 2024.
