Why DeGroote?

I chose DeGroote for its collaborative culture, diverse cohorts, and strong alumni network across industries. Additionally, my experiences with the recruitment team and peers made it clear that DeGroote was the right business school for me.

Why an MBA?

Working over the past five years in sales, I realized the importance of brands having a personality and purpose. This experience inspired me to pursue an MBA to deepen my understanding of marketing strategies and help me grow holistically as a business leader.

What surprised you about DeGroote?

The opportunities provided by DeGroote via networking events, clubs, case competitions and challenges helped me create strong bonds with people across the business school.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Be organized and get involved as much as you can to make the most of your MBA experience!

What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?

Participating in case competitions such as the Canadian Marketing League, DeGroote Innovative Solutions Competition, Foundations Case Competition and the Integrated Project were definitely the biggest highlights of my DeGroote experience so far! I got to learn so much while collaborating with others.
