Work Experience during the DeGroote MBA (Co-op or Summer Internship)
Why DeGroote?
DeGroote gave me the rare combination of academic rigour and real-world application. The co-op program didn’t just complement my MBA; it became the MBA. I’m sitting in a Strategy and Transformation office at one of Ontario’s largest health systems, doing work that matters, while I’m still a student. That’s DeGroote.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
The return on this program is not just a promotion or a salary bump, it is a fundamental shift in how you think, who you know, and what becomes possible for you. The people you meet, the problems you wrestle with, the version of yourself that emerges on the other side, none of that fits neatly on a resume. Do it if you want to grow in ways you cannot yet predict.
