Why DeGroote?
DeGroote stood out to me because of its people and its community. From my first conversations with students, alumni, and faculty, I experienced a culture that genuinely supports one another while encouraging growth and collaboration. I wanted an MBA experience that would challenge me professionally, provide opportunities for hands-on learning, and allow me to build meaningful relationships. DeGroote’s emphasis on experiential learning, leadership development, and creating impact made it the perfect place for me to continue growing both personally and professionally.
What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?
My advice, say yes to the opportunities that make you a little nervous. The best parts of the MBA journey often come from stepping outside your comfort zone, joining a new initiative, having a conversation with someone you’ve never met, or learning from a perspective different from your own. Come in curious, stay open, and embrace the experiences beyond the classroom. The relationships you build, the challenges you take on, and the community you become part of will be so worth it long after your MBA is complete!
