Keiwan Wind (PhD, University of Toronto) is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. He is a pragmatic educator and researcher with a keen interest in the convergence of three distinct yet interconnected disciplines:
He develops innovative approaches to apply advanced data science techniques in critical realist studies for evaluating the social impacts of change programs. At present, he is developing a couple of research projects:
Before joining the DeGroote School of Business, Dr. Wind held a postdoctoral associate position at the University of Rochester, where he enhanced his expertise in implementation science and grant development.
In addition to his PhD, Dr. Wind holds a Collaborative Doctoral Degree in Global Health (University of Toronto Global Scholar) from the Dalla Lana School of Public Health at the University of Toronto, an MSc in eHealth from DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University, an MBA from Sharif University of Technology, and a BEng in Software Engineering from Iran University of Science and Technology.
