Why DeGroote?

DeGroote School of Business has a stellar reputation as one of the top business schools in Canada. Combined with the great networking opportunities and the amazing community, the choice was easy to make. The school location and affordability are also a plus!

Why an MBA?

The MBA degree truly helps develop leadership and management skills, which I believe are invaluable in the current job market. It gives you the opportunity to make great connections with professionals from a lot of different fields. And lastly, it is a great addition to any previous educational background.

What surprised you about DeGroote?

How supportive and collaborative everyone is. Despite how competitive it can be at times, everyone still wants to see each other succeed.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Get to know one another and participate in as many case competitions as possible.

What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?

The Integrated Learning Project allowed us to work with a multinational CPG company. We provided recommendations on a product line that they were trying to increase sales on due to the changing nature of the industry. Also being able to do a summer internship as a consultant.
