Why DeGroote?

I completed my undergraduate degree at DeGroote and that helped develop my academic and professional career. DeGroote took the time to cater to my needs and accelerated my growth. I was able to build a strong business background and learned how to apply it to grow my career. The DeGroote Community and its dedication to students strengthens engagement and collaboration.

Why an MBA?

I chose an MBA to further develop my business acumen to thrive in my desired career path and implement real change to make a positive impact at an organization. The MBA raised my confidence and my ability to communicate effectively, preparing me for the next level in the corporate world.

What surprised you about DeGroote?

What surprised me was the engagement of the DeGroote alumni. They are very involved with the program and are eager to come back and participate in any event. DeGroote is known for its collaborative community and it is emulated through its alumni.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

Plan ahead; make sure that what you are learning is coherent with your future path and talk to people that have experienced it.

What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience so far?

The highlight at DeGroote would have to be the people I’ve met. No matter my academic performance or my co-op placements, what really helped me grow and what I will always remember is the network that I’ve built during my time here.
