In partnership with McMaster University, the Risk and Insurance Studies Centre (RISC) is pleased to invite applications from McMaster University students to join the Risk Education and Literacy (REaL) summer camps as Youth Engagement Leaders (YEL).
YEL position details:
- Number of positions available: 5
- Camp dates: July 21 to July 25
- Camp location: McMaster University, main campus
- Program: REaL Camp titled “Climate Risk Camp”, intended to equip high schoolers with basic climate risk knowledge and decision-making skills
- Eligibility: Enrolled in postgraduate, or second and third-year undergraduate program at McMaster University. Students from any program can apply
- Type of opportunity: Volunteer
- Application: Applicants simply need to send their latest resume via email indicating the camp of their choice
- Attachment: Social media-friendly YEL flyer for your circulation on your handles
