All returning part-time AND full-time PhD students must coordinate a meeting with their committee members by the last week in November (November 24) in order to ensure that the report is completed by the November 30 deadline.
These reports record any progress made since December 1, of 2024 or since the pervious report. These reports are required by the government and have financial impacts to the department, i.e. SGS withholds scholarship funds until these reports are submitted.
Please ensure you coordinate a date with your committee and then ask busphd@mcmaster.ca to initiate a report link so your meeting can be captured in our reporting system.
Student who began the program in Fall 2025 are exempt from filing a report until next Fall.
