DLDP Program Coordinator Role

Are you an effective communicator? An exceptional planner? A proud builder of new processes? Are you also an MBA student in either the Full-Time or Co-op Programs, set to graduate in June 2026? For the 2025 DeGroote Leadership Development Program, DeGroote is seeking two dedicated leaders with strong project management skills to be their new part-time program coordinators.

This role will oversee the following phases of this year’s DLDP and provide some operational support for DeGroote’s MBA Ambassador program:

  1. Project Planning & Scope Alignment for DLDP
  2. Student Ambassador recruitment event support (logistical, planning, staffing of student ambassadors)
  3. DeGroote Leader Recruitment (virtual and in-person)
  4. DeGroote Leader Communication and Training
  5. Skill/Leadership Development Training
  6. Onboarding Week
  7. DeGroote Leader Thank you Dinner / Focus Group
  8. Wrap-Up 2025 and Transition Package for 2026

What experience will you gain? Through the year, you will:

  •  Lead your peers through a year-long mentorship program
  • Develop strong recruitment assessment skills by coordinating and participating in the selection of this year’s DeGroote Leaders
  • Develop practical project management skills
  • Participate in meetings (as feasible) and engage with the MBA Student Experience team to plan a successful Onboarding Week
  • Engage with MBA Recruitment and Admissions Managers to identify and curate a diverse series of events (local and virtual)
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and skill development seminars for the DeGroote Leaders
  • Prepare a comprehensive transition package for the following year’s Coordinator to use when leading the DLDP
  • Enhance your time management/organizational skills

  • Exceptional communication skills – oral and written
  • Experience with project management, and demonstrated ability to keep stakeholders effectively involved in the process, to meet milestones and deadlines
  • Creative thinker and aptitude to translate these thoughts into actions
  • Proactive work approach, demonstrating excellent time management and work prioritization skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, productively, and as a team member
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
  • Strong engagement in student experiences ‘outside the classroom’
  • Proficient in software applications including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel, Microsoft 360 Forms and Microsoft Dynamics is an asset
