Exciting experiential learning course in Social Innovation

What you need to know!

  • Students take this class alongside non-profit partners that learn about social innovation while providing their organizations as contexts for exciting experiential groupwork projects on social innovation .
  • This small classroom is taught by a skilled instructor-practitioner to help bring real-world expertise into the classroom.
  • Students develop in-demand skills related to social innovation such as stakeholder mapping and theory of change. Students will apply their learning in partnership with non-profit managers taking this course at the same time.
  • Learn alongside students from Humanities, Social Sciences, and Business.
  • The course is offered Wednesdays 2:30-5:20pm in the Winter 2025 by Sarah Precious (precious@mcmaster.ca).
