The BDC Program is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Program Support Assistant (work/study student role) to join our Biomedical Discovery and Commercialization program on a temporary basis. This role is ideal for commerce students looking to gain valuable office experience in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a Program Support Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of our program, assisting with event planning, managing social media content, and handling data management tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 6 months of related experience in an administrative or support role.
- Approved to participate in the McMaster work/study program.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong organizational and administrative abilities, ensuring efficient coordination of various tasks and activities.
- Excellent communication skills and the the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Self-starter capable of initiating and completing tasks and projects with minimal input from supervisors.
- Strong collaboration skills, comfortable working in a team environment.
- Interest in creating content for social media (prior professional experience with social media not necessary).
