KPMG Core Consulting Skills Workshop | Jan 24 and 26

This two-day blended program is designed to provide students the unique opportunity to establish and develop a set of core consulting skills and a common approach to service delivery used by practitioners in the industry. The program is built around three phases of the Fact Based Consulting approach: Frame the Issue, Analyze the Facts and Communicate Solutions. Participants will be given the opportunity to learn and apply relevant tools and techniques to learn how to work effectively within engagement teams and with clients.

- Who: Selected 1st year MBA & BCOM students interested in Consulting
- When and Where: Saturday, Jan 24 (KPMG’s Toronto office) and Monday, Jan 26 (at the Ron Joyce Centre Burlington): Both days 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

By the end of this course, participants should be better able to:
- Apply a Fact Based Consulting approach to develop effective client solution(s)
- Provide recommendations based on the best available evidence
- Present proposed solutions using a structured communications approach
- Utilize coaching, feedback and group dynamics to foster a high performing team
- Embed innovation as a standard problem solving asset
- Students will have an opportunity to network with their peers, learn more about the Management Consulting practice at KPMG and further develop their knowledge and approach to consulting engagements.
