Research Opportunity: Dynamic Sustainable Solutions with the ICASSSD

The International Centre for Applied Systems Science and Sustainable Development (ICASSSD) is an independent, international not-for-profit organization headquartered in the Kitchener-Waterloo region. They’re dedicated to advancing systems science and sustainability solutions in Canada and worldwide.

They have recently launched their third research school, themed Dynamic Sustainable Solutions, from May to August, which offers young researchers a unique opportunity to engage with the multidisciplinary field of sustainable development.

A distinguished panel of experts from the University of Waterloo, University of Western Ontario, University of Toronto and University of Delhi will select a cohort of 20 exceptional students. Participants will receive comprehensive training in research methodology and mentorship to explore a sustainability-focused research problem of their choice. All sessions will be conducted online to ensure broad accessibility across North America and India. The program will conclude with the publication of a research paper compendium featuring the students’ work. Please note there are no costs to participate.
