Are you interested in shaping the events that bring our community together? Join the new DeGroote Volunteer Social Committee and get involved in:

• Planning and supporting events that foster engagement at DeGroote (e.g., Holiday Party, Spring Celebration, Coffee with the Dean, and more)
• Gaining valuable experience in event planning and collaboration
• Building stronger connections across the DeGroote Community

What you need to know:

• Open to DeGroote staff, faculty and PhD students
• Commitment runs for one academic year (until June 2026) and may include:
• Providing on-site support at events
• Attending meetings (bi-weekly leading up to flagship events; monthly during the remainder of the year)
  • The first meeting will take place on October 9 at 1:30 p.m. (virtual)
• Participating in the event planning process with assigned responsibilities (Duties will vary based on the event and the committee’s needs)
• If interest exceeds capacity, priority will be given to early applicants while ensuring balanced representation across staff, faculty and PhD students
