The Sustainable Growth Initiative (SGI) at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management is inviting students from all Canadian universities to participate in the 3rd Annual Grand Challenge (AGC), a national case competition focused on sustainability.
Important details:
- This year’s theme is “Resilience by Design: Strengthening Climate Resilience for Coastal Communities and Commerce,” which aims to inspire innovative solutions addressing climate resilience challenges faced by coastal areas and supply chains.
- The competition encourages interdisciplinary teamwork, allowing students from any faculty or program to form teams within or across universities.
- Finalist teams will present their proposals in person on March 18, 2026, in Montreal, competing for a total of $30,000 in cash prizes.
- Registration is open now and closes on January 14.
- This is a great opportunity for students to engage in meaningful problem-solving on a critical environmental issue while gaining valuable experience and recognition.
- This initiative offers a valuable platform for students to contribute to sustainability solutions and showcase their talents on a national stage.
