Want to withdraw from a Fall course?

Before making the decision to drop or withdraw from courses, it is important to understand the academic and financial implications.

Dropped courses:

These courses are removed from your student record. While associated tuition fees are also removed, there may still be financial consequences, such as impacts to OSAP or loss of an entrance award.

For the Fall term, the last day for enrolment and course changes (drop/add) was September 13.
For the Winter term, the last day for enrolment and course changes (drop/add) is January 16.

Withdrawn courses:

These courses remain on your student record as “withdrawn” (W), are subject to cancellation fees, and may have other financial consequences, such as impacts to OSAP or loss of an entrance award. Please review the Course Cancellation Schedule to learn more about fees and financial deadlines.

For the Fall term, the last day to withdraw from a course without failure by default is Friday, November 10.

After the last day to withdraw without failure by default, you will remain enrolled, whether or not you fulfill any further academic obligations, and a final grade will be assigned.
