Welcome Dr. Ruebottom!

Dr. Trish Ruebottom, Associate Professor, Human Resources Management has been appointed as Acting Director of the PhD Program for the DeGroote School of Business effective July 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024.

Dr. Ruebottom is an accomplished academic who specializes in organizations and social change, exploring how social entrepreneurship builds legitimacy for social change and how stigmatized entrepreneurs carve out safe space for themselves and others. She is a prolific researcher whose works have been published in elite journals, an excellent instructor with teaching engagements in both undergraduate and graduate programs, and a supervisor with deep engagement in the doctoral program.

We thank Dr. Ruebottom for providing leadership to the PhD in Business Administration program, and for serving this vital role at the DeGroote School of Business.
