Meet the Faculty: Lunch & Learn with Ruhai Wu (Marketing)
Join us for a 45-minute virtual Lunch & Learn webinar featuring Ruhai Wu, Associate Professor of Marketing at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University.
Dr. Wu will share insights into his research on industrial and retail marketing strategies, including pricing, advertising, channel relationships, customer relationship management, and digital platform management. He uses both game-theoretic modelling and empirical analysis to study the strategic behaviours of firms and consumers.
Recent projects explore e-commerce platform pricing and management, information asymmetry in supply chains, dynamic pricing, communication in joint consumption, and livestream e-commerce. He is also an active doctoral supervisor and available to supervise PhD students in Marketing.
The session will conclude with an open Q&A, an excellent opportunity for prospective PhD candidates to learn more about research opportunities, the doctoral program at DeGroote, and what it’s like to work with Dr. Wu.
