Why an MBA?
I decided to pursue an MBA because I was still exploring different career options and I knew an MBA would open the door for so many different opportunities. Coming from an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences, I was focused on developing a strong business background which I could leverage for a possible career in healthcare. At the same time, I also wanted to keep my options open for opportunities in different industries. Naturally, an MBA seemed like the right choice and I can now say I’ve discovered interests that I never knew existed.
What surprised you about DeGroote?
What surprised me the most about DeGroote is how closely connected the entire DeGroote community is. Everyone from the current students, to the faculty, and even DeGroote Alumni are so involved and focused on building positive relationships. It really makes life at DeGroote that much more enjoyable and provides students with such a deep network to explore future opportunities.
