Why DeGroote?

For me, choosing DeGroote for my MBA felt like a natural next step. I did my undergrad here, so I already knew how strong the community was. What stood out to me then, and still does now, is how approachable the faculty are, how easy it is to connect with classmates, and how many opportunities there are to get involved beyond the classroom. I’ve always felt supported here, whether it was through student clubs, mentorship, or just the day-to-day culture of collaboration. That sense of belonging made it easy to picture myself growing further in the MBA program, both personally and professionally.

What piece of advice would you give to anyone considering doing their MBA at DeGroote?

I’d say come in with an open mind and be ready to explore. The MBA experience at DeGroote is what you make of it. There are so many different opportunities, whether it’s case competitions, co-op, clubs, or networking events. Don’t be afraid to try something new, even if it’s outside your comfort zone. Also, talk to people. Your classmates, professors, and alumni are some of your best resources. Everyone here is willing to help if you reach out, and those connections can really shape your experience.
