Sarah leads the customer-facing teams at Greenspace Health. She specializes in improving the client experience – particularly in the health-tech space. Sarah received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications at York University, a post-graduate diploma in Public Relations from Humber College, and is currently an MBA Candidate at the Degroote School of Business. Prior to her current role at Greenspace Health, Sarah’s career spanned customer success, marketing, and communications. Outside of work and school, Sarah is an avid crocheter, performs improv, and loves to spend time with her family.
What attracted you to the BLPT MBA Program at DeGroote?
The BLPT MBA Program at DeGroote really stood out to me because of it’s workload and scheduling. As a busy mom of a young child and a working professional, this program was my top choice!
What has been the highlight of your DeGroote experience?
So far, the highlight has been meeting so many of my peers who all have diverse backgrounds. It’s been great getting to know each of them through the assigned groups, and then making time to socialize during the residency weekends.
What surprised you about your experience at DeGroote?
How well organized the residency weekends are!
How has this program impacted your career?
So far I’ve been able to take at least one thing from every single class and apply it to my current job and my overall career.
What advice do you have for someone looking to pursue their MBA while continuing to work full-time?
It’s tough, there’s no way around that aspect of balancing an MBA and working full-time. Let go of perfection and learn how to value your time.
