The Art of Research competition, hosted by the Office of the Vice-President, Research, invites McMaster University students, staff, faculty, alumni and retirees to showcase the impact of their work through striking images. This competition offers a creative and accessible way to share and celebrate cutting-edge research at McMaster.
Whether taken in the field, the lab, the studio or the community, your image should vividly illustrate the transformative impact of your research.
You can submit your images to one of these five categories:
- Planetary health and sustainability
- Promoting a healthy society
- Building an equitable world
- Connecting communities
- Advanced technology
Competition details:
- Submissions are due April 6
- There are first place prizes of $500 and second place prizes of $250 for each of the five themed categories
- There’s also a chance to win the $300 prize for Best Description
- The competition is open to McMaster University students, staff, faculty, alumni and retirees
- It will be judged by a multidisciplinary selection panel
