Begin the new year with intention through the “Becoming Yourself Series – Find Balance in Daily Living (Series 2.0)”, a free six-week workshop series designed to support healthy habits, self-discovery and balance in daily life.
This course offers space free from cost, stress, and exams, allowing you to focus on understanding yourself more deeply. Through practical and manageable steps, you’ll discover your unique daily rhythm, explore ways to increase focus and productivity in your studies, and learn to treat yourself with kindness and respect. Each weekly 50-minute session includes interactive group exercises, mindfulness practices, reflective activities exploring the question “Who am I?”, and tools you can try at home. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with a staff coach and share ideas for authentic living with others who are asking similar questions.
This event is part of Open Circle, a welcoming student community at McMaster that provides safe and respectful spaces for reflection, personal growth, spirituality, mental health, and leadership. Open Circle offers Reflection Circles and Courses, mindfulness practices, and opportunities to volunteer in Hamilton with other students. By joining, you’ll connect with peers who share a desire for meaning, balance, and belonging.
