Border services officers (BSO) safeguard Canada’s security and prosperity by ensuring the free flow of admissible people and goods, while supporting national security and public safety priorities. They work at 1,200 points of service across the country, including land borders, international airports, marine terminals, rail ports, and postal facilities, to enforce laws and regulations that touch nearly every sector of Canadian society.
