A dedicated prayer space will be available inside FirstOntario Concert Hall for students and guests observing Jum’ah prayer ahead of the DeGroote School of Business convocation ceremony at 2:30 p.m.
Important details:
- Date: June 20
- Doors of the FirstOntario Concert Hall will open at 1:00 p.m.
- Staff will be on hand to assist students with expedited check-in if they wish to use the space
- To help make this process as smooth as possible, students can email us their height in advance so we can set aside a properly sized robe for them
Please note: Gown reservation is only available for students observing Jum’ah prayer ahead of the convocation ceremony at 2:30 p.m.; all other students will be fitted upon arrival.
McMaster University hopes these arrangements help ensure attendees can comfortably observe Jum’ah prayer before the ceremony begins.
