May 8, 2025

DeGroote PhD students all huddled together for a group photo, with some sitting on a bench.

Many thanks to the students and faculty members who joined the DeGroote Doctoral Student Association (DDSA) for the spring hike!

The Ravine Road Trail gave them just the right mix of fresh air, forest charm and scenic beauty. As expected, but not surprisingly, a graceful deer made an appearance, reminding them who really owns the trail. They shared laughs, snapped photos and enjoyed some post-hike bites together, because what’s a DDSA outing without food?!

Stay tuned for more events soon – the DDSA can’t wait to do this again!
