The Capital Markets Student Mentorship Program is a voluntary initiative that creates opportunity for select students from traditionally under-represented groups pursuing careers in Capital Markets with an improved understanding of the industry, opportunities to build networks and professional development support. Open to 1st or 2nd year students, the program is designed to help students gain industry knowledge and leadership skills, learn directly from leaders from Capital Markets, build professional networks and support with improving their resume, networking and interview skills. Students selected for the program will receive a guaranteed interview for future summer CIBC Capital Markets opportunity of their choice.
The program runs from Nov to April and is not a paid position, but an opportunity to be mentored toward reaching their short and long-term career goals.
