DeGroote Case Competition Tryouts

Case competitions are an incredible opportunity to apply your classroom learning to real-world business challenges, sharpening your problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills under pressure. They foster creativity, confidence, and resilience, while also building strong networks and lifelong friendships through a shared, high-energy experience.

Tryout details:

• Tryouts to determine the two home teams will take place on Saturday October 4 at the RJC.
• This will involve a 3-hour long case.
• If you want to participate in the tryouts, form a team of 4 team members and email Dr. Milena Head at headm@mcmaster.ca.
• The deadline for tryout submissions is Monday September 29 at 5 p.m.

DeGroote Case Competition details:

• From November 21 to 23, DeGroote will be hosting the DeGroote Case Competition, where teams from across the country will compete in three case formats:
  • a 10-day long case
  • a 6-hour long case
  • a 3-hour case.
• Two home teams will be representing DeGroote at this competition.
• This is an opportunity for first year and Accelerated MBA students only.
