Undergraduate Research Assistant Workshop | Feb 25

February 2, 2026

Contributed by: Shevaughn Bennett

Undergraduate Research Associates are valued team members across all areas within the DeGroote School of Business. This workshop will provide an opportunity for DSB undergraduate students to learn about research and ideally develop an interest in pursuing a Research Assistant (RA) position. Students who have held RA positions in the past will speak about their experiences. Supervisors who are planning to hire RAs for the summer term will give brief descriptions of their projects and will respond to questions.

Students can:

  • Participate in business-focused research
  • Gain valuable work experience
  • Develop transferable skills
  • Receive mentorship from DeGroote researchers

Undergraduate Student Research Award positions are posted on OSCARplus in the early part of each year. Students are also encouraged to reach out directly to professors in academic areas that are of interest. Please see Undergraduate Research at DeGroote website for more details on current research projects.
