The Centre is currently looking for candidates who reflect the full diversity of the communities that we serve to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors for a period of two or three-year terms, from October 2024-2026/27.

We are looking for individuals with expertise in anti-racism, social work, social justice, law, education, finance, health, nonprofit management, community organizing, accounting, and human resources. Prior board experience is an asset but is not a requirement for these volunteer opportunities.

Key positions available include:

  • Treasurer, Board Directors.

Our current Board of Directors is comprised of individuals with strong community connections from diverse backgrounds who are interested in advancing education about race, racism, discrimination, racial equality; and anti-racist theory and practice in Hamilton.
