Prof. Michael Wu is seeking a research assistant (RA) from the DeGroote School of Business to assist on a project housed at the intersection of digital marketing and public policy. Current or incoming MBA students are preferred for this role, but undergraduate students with a strong analytics background or research experience will also be considered.
Important details:
- Under direct supervision, the RA will provide support of the collection, review and (potential) analysis of data for a research project related to digital marketing, public policy and analytics. The RA will also assist in a scan of the existing literature. Exact duties are subject to change.
- Duration of the job: Aug. 8 to Dec. 19. However, the exact dates may be subject to change.
- Rate of Pay and hours per week: Level 2 – Intermediate (Research Assistant II) – Max salary of $22.00 per hour, 10 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Ability to function both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong work ethic.
- Experience and proficiency with data collection and management applications, including Zoom and Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with digital platforms, statistical/analytical methods and/or quantitative research approaches.
- Experience with Stata, R, and/or Python
