There are some important things to note if you are completing your MBA in December.

1. CONGRATULATIONS – you are in the home stretch and your hard work will be paying off soon.
2. It is important that Graduate Students DO NOT Apply to Graduate in Mosaic. This process is intended for undergraduate Students ONLY and could interfere with your current ‘eligible’ status.
3. Your convocation ceremony will take place in June 2025. All details related to convocation are arrange centrally through McMaster’s Office of the Registrar. Details will be available on their website in early spring.
4. Professors are asked to submit final grades 5 business days following the last class or final exam. These grades are then reviewed and approved by 3 levels of university administration before they are posted to Mosaic. This process can take several weeks however the SE team monitors grade submissions and approval daily in an effort to expedite.
5. Once all final grades have been received, Academic Advisors will manually review each student’s academic record and submit necessary documents to the School of Graduate Studies to clear eligible students to graduate. SGS will then start their process and student records will be updated. Note this process is expected to be completed in March.
6. Students that require a letter of completion for VISA purposes, are encouraged to email the request to askmba@mcmaster.ca AFTER they see all final grades have been posted to Mosaic. We will review your academic record and provide a letter within 2 business days of the request.
7. Information regarding unofficial and official transcripts, degrees and transcripts is available on the Office of the Registrar.

Please email askmba@mcmaster.ca with any questions or book an Academic Advising Appointment in Oscar + to speak with Carolyn or Guillermo.
