Making the RJC a Greener Space – Tree Planting Project: September 26
Interested in sustainability? Want to be part of a ground-breaking activity? On September 26, there is a tree planting project looking for up to 25 MBA students to take part. For more details, see below.
On September 26, there will be a tree planting initiative at the Ron Joyce Centre, Burlington. This event has been coordinated and planned by Carlos Figueira (McMaster Facilities) and his team in Custodial / Grounds, in conjunction with the City of Burlington (which are contributing the trees).
Event details:
- Timing: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM
- Location: RJC throughout the grounds
- Number of volunteers: 25 (combination of students and staff)
- What to bring: casual clothes (don’t mind getting them dirty), long sleeves and pants recommended, closed toe shoes, hat/sunscreen (if sunny) and a water bottle. Note: you do NOT need your own gloves.
- If you are interested in participating (and digging up dirt), please register here on OSCARplus by 3pm on September 25. Any remaining spots will be filled by Student Experience team members.
Note: Please register only if you do not have any class conflicts.
