Spring Clean for a Cause: Support the RJC Community Pantry! 🌸

As spring arrives and you may begin your seasonal cleaning, consider donating items you no longer need to support the RJC Community Pantry! This is a great opportunity to not only tidy up your space but also give back. Your donations make a meaningful difference.

What Can You Donate? We are accepting the following items to help stock the pantry and support the community:

  • Non-perishable food items: We’re in need of non-perishable food such as canned goods, dried foods, pasta, rice, and other long-lasting food staples. Please check expiration dates to ensure the food is still safe and consumable.
  • Clean, professional clothing: Gently used, clean clothing that is ready to wear is highly appreciated. Think of those looking for professional attire for a last-minute interview or just needing a spring wardrobe refresh. Clothes should be in good condition—nothing worn out or damaged. Items such as shirts, blouses, slacks, skirts and jackets are all welcome.
  • Books in good condition: If you’ve been dusting off your bookshelves, we would love to receive any books that are in good condition. These can be novels, textbooks, self-help books, or even children’s books.

Why Donate? The RJC Community Pantry is designed to support staff, students, offering a place where anyone can access food, clothing, and other essentials at any time. Your contributions, whether big or small, will make a direct impact to others within in the RJC.

How to Donate: Please bring your donations to RJC 333.
