Join for an in-depth session exploring the future of high-performance computing at SHARCNET—featuring the upcoming Nibi cluster, enhanced resource allocation for major projects, and cutting-edge tools for data-intensive research.

This event is especially useful for PhD students engaged in data-intensive research, including text mining, machine learning, simulations, large-scale optimization, cloud-based experiments or models and advanced statistical computing that exceeds the capacity of personal computers. Understanding the transition to Nibi can help students prepare their workflows and explore new computing capabilities. The presenters include experts from SHARCNET: John Morton (Director of Technology), Paul Preney, Doug Roberts, and Armin Sobhani, all HPC consultants.
