Gino Scapillati

Biography

For more than 30 years, Gino has been dedicated to his career at PwC, one of the world’s largest professional services networks.
Starting at PwC Canada directly after graduating from McMaster, he was admitted to partnership in1990. His successful path has included progressive leadership roles including Canadian Entertainment and Media practice leader; Greater Toronto Audit and Assurance practice leader; and National Managing Partner.
In 2013, Gino was appointed Vice Chair of PwC Canada. He is also a member of the PwC Global Governance Board overseeing the strategy and operations of the PwC Global Network.
Gino has been actively involved in various business and community organizations, including the National Council of C.D. Howe Institute; the Ontario Business Advisory Council of the Ontario Chamber of Commerce; and the Council of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. Gino is also a current and past board member of numerous charities.
Gino is a frequent presenter in the Directors Education Program of the Canadian Institute of Corporate Directors. He is a Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (FCPA, FCA) and a United States Certified Public Accountant (Illinois). In 2009, Gino was elected as a Fellow Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario for his achievements and leadership contributions to the community and the profession.
