Canada has no shortage of innovative ideas, ambitious entrepreneurs, or world-class research. Yet, as productivity increasingly shapes our economic future, a defining question emerges: how can Canada turn its potential into lasting prosperity?
Building a more productive economy requires more than innovation alone. It demands the ability to bring ideas to market, scale businesses, and compete on the global stage. From investment and entrepreneurship to commercialization and the changing nature of work, Canada’s productivity imperative will shape business growth, wages, and long-term economic competitiveness.
A panel of leaders from finance, industry, and academia will explore what it will take for Canada to translate innovation into economic impact. Together, they will examine the barriers holding back commercialization, the conditions needed to build globally competitive Canadian companies, and the collective steps required to unlock productivity and secure Canada’s competitive future.
